For 2018, NESC-GE will crown regional winners in the Junior NESC-GE Competitor tier. Junior NESC competitors will not compete in the national round and instead will receive prizes and winner certificates at the Regional Round.
To make NESC more competitive and prestigious, 9-12 class students, or Senior NESC Competitors, will compete in the regional rounds and the top 2 finalists in each region will be invited to the National Round. For 2018, only Senior NESC Competitors will go to Nationals.

Yes, every school needs to register this year, even if they participated last year. Schools must fill out the NESC Registration Form each year which can be found here.
my school doesn't use email often, but we do have a Facebook page. Can NESC communicate with US via facebook instead of email?
We will have a field on the NESC Registration Form for a school Facebook name. We also invite schools and teachers to “Like” our Facebook page so they NESC Competition notifications and updates. Our Facebook page can be found here.
